The Garrison Collection contains images of the Dr. Peter and Barthena Garrison family of Coles and Clark counties. People featured in this collection are Civil War veteran Alva Curtis Garrison, his wife, Mary Jane, and their children Orrel Marietta Garrison, Charles S. Garrison, and Thomas E. Garrison. Collection donor notes are written by one of Charles S. Garrison's children.
