Sir

I have been wanting to rite to you for some time to know whether I could get on the Steamer you Detached as hospital Boat for the benefit of the sick and wounded Ills Soldiers I would not ask this but I am not fite for Camp life as I have a hard cough whitch I allways had and thinking that I could do some good for the benifit of our Brave Boys I wish no more than a privat gets wich is Board Cloths and $13 per month please answer and let me know what you think about it
