Gov Yates

Dr Sir

You are crowded with business - yet let me beg you to read my letter. I will be brief.

I am here at [Lane?] Sinclairs through advice of Drs Prince & Long to seek a practice. Have been here 3 weeks - long enough to know that I cant do any thing. I am flat - and want business. Your friend Mr Atkins told me of the press of business there - can I get temporary Employment on any terms. You will find me all right every way. I will do any thing I can do - only give me the oppertunity. I hope ultimately to hear favorably of an appointment in the P.O. Department but just now am in a tight spot For Heavens sake Gov Yates, if you can give me work, let me hear from you by return mail.

Your friend

Dr. T. H. Rose
