Col: Wm R Morris, of Mound City Pulaski County, has in Camp Butler, 23 men enlisted by Capt Phillips Provost Marshal, for the 146th Regt.
As the 146th Regt is now full and mustered in, I would request that you furnish Mr Morris and his men, transportation, to enable them to proceed to Alton Ills, Mr M having made an
arrangement with Maj Genl Rosecrans to go into that regiment.
