I am directed by His Excel'cy Govr Yates to say in reply to your letter of 12th inst. in which you ask if a Soldier who has received a furlough to go to Bloomington can go to Cedar Falls that he can go any where he wishes provided he returns to his command at the expiration of his furlough.
