I do hereby appoint the Aforesaid Austin Woolfolk of 17th Regt Ills Vol Militia under command of Col L L F Ross, paymaster of said Regiment for the purpose of receiving recapting for and paying out the pay of the Comd Officers Non Commissioned officers Musicians and privates of said Regiment, due to them by

by the state of Illinois, and authorize the issue to hm of a Warrant by the Auditor of the state of Illinois to the extent of said pay and to report his action in the premises to this department with proper vouchers therefor,
