Hon: S. Cameron Sec: of War.

I graduated at West Point in 1827. I held a commission in the Artillery until 1835. My last service was as assistant Professor of Natural & Experimental Philosophy at West Point. I resigned to accept the place of Civil Engineer in my native state, Kentucky I have been for 18 years a citizen of Rock Island Illinois. I request a commission in the Army. I am ready to take any proper position


immediately.
