Dear Sir
The Col of the Fox River Regiment is anxious that Doct M.K. Taylor of our place should be appointed Surgeon of his Reg. And requests me to communicate the same to you.
Doct Taylor says He will be pleased with the position if consistent with your wishes.
I think the appointment will give general satisfaction with the Boys.
