Yours of the 26th came to hand to day it was thankfully Received My Reasons for not teling you my sons name & the Hospital the folowing will explain -- first I thought I would write you giving you his case just as it was as I had bin advised so to do & then if you would answer I could give you the Pertickulars his name is James T Robertson & he is now in the

general field Hospital Vining Springs Georgia or was the last account which was a few days a go he was trying to get to the Reg & gain the thought of he could get back to the Rege he could get a discharge as I before mentioned he is in the 84th Reg of Ills Vol Co A under Cap D Higgins

I shal ever feel greatful to you for your assistance in trying to get a Discharge
