Dear Sir
One of my Clerks is an Operator, An instrument in this Office would be a great convenience so far as Camp Butler and other near Offices are concerned. The Supt of the Telegraph is absent, but the manager of the Office here says, if you request or approve it he will supply an Instrument. Will you please endorse this.
