Dear Sir: Your letter of 30th Sept recd I have written to the Medical Director at Louisville Ky requesting that your Brother F. W. Foote with Ills. Cavalry may be examined for Invalid Corps & transferred, if a fit subject, under orders governing that organization-and if not- that he may be transferred to Hospital at Chicago and requested report which when received will communicate to you.
