Copes of documents Sent your Office by the Provost Marshal of the 4th Congressional Dist. of your state are received by me

Every efforts shall be made toward ferreting out the Murderer named Williams, should he be in the confines of Idaho Territory. This Territory shall not be a refuge for such culprits

I congratulate your Excellency on the goodly vote thrown for the Union and Constitution in the late Glorious Election

Idaho will ere long take her place as a State and then as now will yield her influence for the vindication and preservation of our institutions.
