Monticello Piatt County Ill Nov 20/64

This is to Certify that Stephen Largee, a private of Co. E. (Capt Jno W Wood's) 107 Regt Ill vol Inf, enlisted in this county when said Regiment was formed and Organized, is, and has been well known to me. He went to the Hospital in Lebanon Ky on the 16th day of August 1863. He remained for a long time there, and rejoined the Regiment n East Tennessee---made a march of four or five days, lost his Speech, rendering him unfit to perform the duties of a Soldier from that time to the present date. He has also been sadly afflicted with camp or chronic Diarrhea, reducing him to a mere shadow of his former self. He has always been a soldier of good moral character and habits, and ever ready to perform his duty when able to do so. He is now in my opinion entirely disabled for the Service.

Respectfully Submitted
