Sir.
I would most respectfully ask that I be transferred to my state I was wounded at Rome Georgia on the 17" of May and have been lying in
Hospital ever since. I was wounded by the Explosion of a Shell a ball from the Shell entering my left side which has disabled me from doing field [dieuty?].
