Mr. Yats

Dear Sir I imbrace this opertunity to write you a few lines requesting you to do something as reguard geting my husband a dischard he is a Soldier in the 94 Regt Illinois Vollinteers he belongs to Co. I he is now at Fort Morgan Alabama. I have one child to take care of. My husband's only brother has died in the army and also his Step Father and his mothers [father?] and Brother Wife and two little children is depending on him for a support and he is a very poor man and his Monthly wages serving his country dos not go very far while every thing that we live upon is so very high and we are rely suffering for they need of him at home and my helth has been very poor for five months past now. Mr. Yats appeal to you to do something for me as regards geting my husband to come home now Mr. Yats I will get Mr. Barnard to witness this letter with me, my husbands Name is Elias S. Busick of Co. I 94th Regt Illinois Vollen.
