Perpignan, May 31, 1865.
Sir: At its session on the 12th instant the Friends of Perfect Union Lodge fired a triple battery of mourning to the memory of Abraham Lincoln, the late illustrious President of the United States.
We have the honor of sending you, with this, an extract of the minutes of the session on the 12th, and a cantata composed for the occasion by two members of the lodge.
We respectfully request you to have the kindness to transmit these documents to Mrs. Lincoln through the Grand Lodge of New York.
