Dear Sir

It is with the greatest of pleasure that i pen a few lines to you letting you know our situation here. There are others of well and ill boys here who here belong to the gates [?] and was wounded at [?] and would wish to be transferred to ours and of state as furlough and would wish that you would get us away if in your powers to do so.
