I hope you will see the Gov. write me a letter to Gen Camby & mail to New Orleans I think a letter from the Gov to him would be some advantage to me Please don't neglect this I am on my way to New Orleans and feel Confident that in a short time I will be able to send you by Express an interesting letter. Write me
