I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your communication of the 29th ult. enclosing lists of names of Illinois soldiers now in Hospitals at Jefferson Barracks and Saint Louis, Mo. whose term of service is about to expire, and requesting that they be transferred to Springfield Illinois.

The Medical Director, Dep't. Missouri has been directed to make the transfer as requested.
