     Gov Yates,
I have another letter from Mc Allister Oquawka, saying that you are advertised to speak at the opening of the Southern Iowa (Sarulong?) fair on the 26th the day fixed for your Meeting at Oquawka. There seems to be a muddle some where about the meeting. I supposed the fair was at Muscatine. I did not suppose you were going out of the state. Will you write to Mc Allister (R.S.) & quiet him down?
                                   Your Truly
