I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your inclosure in relation to the matter of one B. Williams a fugitive from justice from your state.

I presented the matter to the Provost Marshall who has given a description of Williams to all his deputies through out the Territory. I will also give the U.S. Marshal a description & will use all means at my command to aid you in

securing the Villain
