Permit us to express our Sincere thanks for the kindness you manifested in behalf of our people, (Seventh Day Adventists) by getting our papers to Washington, and returning the Same properly endorsed by Provost Marshal Fry, thereby Securing to them the benefits of Sec. 17. Act of Feb. 2rth 1864. relative to those conscientioulsy opposed to bearing arms.
