Major Gen Wright Louisville Ky

One Regiment armed and clothed is now en route via Indianapolis for Louisville -- another will certainly leave to-morrow night -- I have ordered fifteen Regiments including those two to leave immediately . Six of them will be armed from arms now here and Gen Ketchum informs me arms will be here to follow them immediately -- Eleven of them have at last been mustered - but few of them paid- or at all provided for. Our

State has been shamefully treated -- and now we have considerably over the 50,000 troops who with fair treatment might be at your service -- It is extremely mortifying to receive your pressing dispatches for help, and to feel that our noble State so ready and so prompt for want of proper response of the Government in mustering officers, pay musters clothing -- arms etc would seem to be called for in vain
