Dear Sir I wrote to you in August in refference to an office that you have the apointing power to fill I called on my friends at Wasington City to address you in refference to my charrector as a man &c if you desire any further information I will cheerfully forward the Same to you and hope you will be able to give me a Situation Soon I am tuo poore to come and see you upon uncertaintys hoping you can appreciate my Situation Enclosed is the Stamp for the return answer we have no new Stamps yet with due Respect I Remain your
