Dear Sir
Please accept my thanks for your two favors of 15th inst
The mail will close in a few minutes I have therefore time only to say that the position is as gratefully accepted as it is kindly tendered.
I shall write, immediately, a letter of acceptance to Col Ferry with whom I am acquainted as I was his attorney for the transaction of [Cusings?] when I resided in Mercer County.
Will prepare the list for next mail.
