Mrs Angeline Sumpters

Watson Station April 20th 1863

Wishes to know what they are doing at Vicksburgh - and what they will do - wishes the Governor to tell her every thing he knows. Says she has four children all boys but one - the baby is a girl about 20 months old. Wishes the Governor to give her a great deal of inflamation about the army. Cannot read nor write - wishes the Governor to print his name on the first letter so that she may know who it is from.
