Hon Richard Yates

Dear Sir

We the undersigned citizens of Warsaw and members of the Union League have the honour to forward to you the following resolutions adopted unanimously at our last meeting

1st Resolved by the Union League of Warsaw numbering near 300 members that the thanks of this league be tendered to Governor Yates for his patriotic course in dissolving the late legislative [illegible] ---- Resolved that a committee of 3 be appointed by the president to forward the foregoing resolution to Gov Yates

In accordance with the latter resolution the undersigned have the honour to perform that duty. and in doing this they venture to express the hope that you will on all fit [illegible] hereafter as you have done heretofore performed your whole duty to your state once the United states in such a manner as to merit the approbation of all loyal men.
