Every loyal heart in this state whose ear is reached this day with the intelegence of your act in adjurning the the Legislature pulsate with joy. God be praised that we have one at the helm of state who dares to step into the breach to save our state from disgrace if not from ruin. Stand firm my Dear Sir.

Be prepared for any emergency on the 17th The Loyal hearts of the State are with you, God protect & direct you Truly Yours in our Countrys Cause
