Sir,
You are hereby authorized to take possession of and return to State Arsenal Springfield Illinois all Ordnance and Ordnance Stores belonging to the State of Illinois found by you in possession of unauthorized parties, and also to receive and receipt for all Ordnance and Ordnance Stores belonging to the State of Illinois found by you in possession of such parties who wish to be relieved of the responsibility of holding the same.
