Sir: Munroe Conner of CoB. 114th Regt Ills. Vols is represented by his family here as being very ill with rupture and they have requested me to write you asking that if he is a fit subject for furlough or discharge you will please direct the proper examination to be made and papers issued.

I will esteem it a favor if you will give the case attention and cause this letter returned with indorsements showing his condition tete.

Munroe Conner of C.B. 114" Ills Vols was examined. Found to be suffering from Hernia - left side and was recommended for transfer to Invalid Corps - 1" Batallion

Examined by Medical Brand, in August last.

Geo. L. Lucas Surg of Ills Surgeon in Chief 3d Division 15" A.C.

This man having been transferred to the Invalid Corps will be sent to St. Louis in a short time. His disease is not of a serious character merely incapacitating him for active service.
