I pray your excellency will take my case into consideration as I am an old man with a long family, my oldest son had the misfortune to join bad company he was sent to this state prison where he now is, for as I am informed stealing wearing appearl, when he went from my house to go to his work I had no idea of the company he got in with, as he was always a very obedient boy to us he has been sentenced to eight years in prison, of which he has spent nine months I humbly beg of your excellency to lesser his time his name John Flynn I am
