Dear Gov - Yesterday I found John Miles of Warren County in town. Had him take dinner with me. He is a strong freind of Gen Harding & is also a very influential man in Warren Co politics, He was a little inclined for Washburn, but after our conversation was closed, he said "no man can go to the Legislature from Warren Co unless he is pledged to support Yates- If you should desire to send him any communications direct to Galesburg, he receives his mail here.

Truly yours, Geo I Bergen
