You will please to take notice that George Steel of this city has filed his Bill of Complaint in the Circuit Court of Cook County against all the defendants named in the above notice, including the People of the State of Illinois and the Board of Trustees of the Illinois and Michigan Canal, to settle and adjust the title of the Wharfing Privilege in front of Lot one (1) in Block Nineteen (19) in the original town of Chicago in the city of Chicago under the act of the Legislature of the State of Illinois. Entitled "an act to adjust and settle the title of the Wharfing Privileges in Chicago and for other purposes. and that suit is

now pending in said Bill and that summons has been issued out of said court on said Bill dated the twelfth day of July A.D. 1864 and returnable at the Court House in the City of Chicago on the first Monday of September next. and that this notice is required by said act to be served on you and each of you sixty days before the day of hearing of said Bill Chicago August 17th 1864
