When in your city I desired to make some arrangements with you but failed to get an oppertunity to do so. But I put the papers & stated the case to Col. Loomis, he promised & agreed to lay the Case at once before you, & Write me the results. I waited a reasonable time, & no reply. I then wrote him, & no reply. Now I ask you to Call on Loomis, this must not be overlooked - [Nary?], is doing good work in the Campaign. I hope you will see to this at once. I leave the matter with you & Loomis - hope to hear soon.
