Dear Gov,

Just in from the Country. Seen lots of the boys, all right. You cant be beat, ain't in the pins. So it might Mr McHenry, home by Rock Island Randall of [Dr Robt?]. Sound, Joslyn Says, go with us if they put up Christ against you. Seen Sedgwick all right, have tried but they cant move him. Payne of Lake is [Leakey?], but think he will be all right. d - d - f -- l, anyway. Ed Allen sound. Johnson right. Mann will be, got ropes on him. McIntyre Will sound. Bureau boys righ, also fixed strain of Warren. I own him, Gov dont be nervous, you are all right. Whom "God loveth he charhiseth." A in the Tribune, wish I was Provo Marshal here. Would Suppress the institution.

Has seen Randall, Joslyn, Sedgwick Allen, Johnson, McIntyre, Bureau boys & they are all sound. Payne of Lake is doubtful. is a fool anyway--Mann will be right he has ropes on him - and he will make Strain go for you for he owns him.
