Dear Sir,
I will see what I can do about Artillery in a short time - -hope at all wants to supply your partially with guns & equipments --- will be able to inform you, I hope next week what I can do.
Sorry I cannot give you any encouragement as to supplying you infantry - There are, I think, some 10 or 12 incomplete Regts all struggling for men. It may be, (but not very probable) that after awhile you might get assistance from one of our camps. --
The State Quarter Master can supply you, if needed and make your requisition, with the best uniform in the service and
with almost any thing in the way of equipments of the best quality --
