Dear Sir
I have seen and talked with Mr. Butler about the post Suttership, he sais to me that the men are safe and worthy.
Gov I am very anxous about this matter, and feel that we are under obligations to these men for what they have done, and I have a still further interest in what I hope to accomplish thru them. If your judgment approove the Appointment, you will Confer a favor upon me by making it as Early as convenient, that they may have time to prepare themselves
