Act Asst Surgeon L H Robins of Illinois, under contract since the 30th of April, I have found a most efficient Officer, and has been detailed for duty in the Medical Directors Department as a Medical Inspector.

It is with pleasure I bring to your notice this young Gentleman, who has sustained himself so well in his Official capacity, and that of a Gentlemen. I should be gratified to learn of his receiving a commission as Assistant Surgeon knowing that he will do credit to his native State.
