I am a private in Company "E." 54. Regt. Ills. Vol. at Columbus. In the event I have a Correct view of the order You will please Forwd me such pass over the Terre Haute Alton & St Louis R.R. & E Branch of the Central R.R. to Cairo. & to Columbus.
The reason I am now without the pass is that there [illegible] no one at the post to give same.
