Dear Sir
We have wasted several days very anxiously to see you personaly for the purpose of obtaining if posible a situation Either in the army or in some civil capacity for Henry Nash. We will simply say of him, that he is qualified for any position, is active, honest & willing at all times to discharge promptly all duties imposed upon him. of all of which hundreds of our best men will certify. He has for years been engaged in positions of great responsibility by our best business men & has given the highest satisfaction. If necessary we can give you reference to hundreds, among them Judge Coton, Hollister Cook &c. Any favors shown him will be returned by us personaly & always cheerfully remembered. Hoping to hear from you soon.
