Gov Yates

Dear Sir;

I offer myself as Quarter Master commissary or inspection of supplies: I have been engaged several years in the meat and provision trade; and feel that I am competent to fill a situation of the kind named. I am 44 years old always well, perfectly temperate and can, come to time I can furnish all necessary recommends if any prospect of an appointment.

My oldest son is in the 13th Ill now under Curtis: I furnished

the 13th Wis Regiment while in camp at Janesville last fall so that I have some practical experience as to the wants and requirements of soldiers and Gov't I can arrange my affairs to leave home on short notice; I feel more like going; now that the rebels are to be hurt

My nearest P.O. is Beloit Wis.

Yours Truly

F. T. Fairbanks
