I am directed by Lieut Col. Bristol Comndng this Regt. to acknowledge the receipt of your favor of the 17" inst, regarding the discharge of P. Bates Reynolds of Company K of this Regt. and to state to your Excellency that he was discharged from the service on the 6th inst and left this Camp on the 26th inst
