I hereby certify that I have carefully examined Cyrus K. Gifford, Vet. Surgeon of the 5th Regt. Ills. Cavalry, and find that in consequence of an injury of the Testicle, received while on duty in the service, he is disabled from performing any duty on horse back; and respectfully reccomennd that he be transfered to some other departmetn of the SErvice.
