I have a very intimate friend in the Yates' Sharp Shooters from your State, and have been unable to obtain any information from him. His name is Thos. C. Fullerton. He enlisted from Ottawa. When last heard from they were under Gen Pope near Corinth -- since which time I can not learn of their movements. Thinking you could inform me of their location I have concluded to write you. It would be a great relief to his family as well as myself to know where to address a letter to him
