I see by the papers that you authorized the publication of a "Roll of Honor" Containing names &c of Illinois Volunteers in U.S. Army

The Governor of this State is desirous of having a similar "Roll of Honor" for the Volunteers of this State, and I should like to have a copy of the Illinois "Roll" with the view of seeing its general plan &c

Will you have the kindness to favor me with a copy by mail
