Dr Sir permit me to make a few enquiries of you relative to the Colored People is ther a Chance at present to get those of Both sex? there is a number of good farmers in this County who wish to obtain some of Both sex and would pay them liberally and treat them kindly I would like to get one female and two Males and a number of others who I think would treat them with respect I have been requested to go and see what can be done and but for the order some weeks since to have no more sent to Illinois I Should of gone to [Cairo?] if you can Direct where I could obtain them you will oblige me and others
