Sir

Having been discharged from the Survice on a count of a wound received in my left hand at the battle of Fort Donelson Disinabling me for the deutes of a private but wishing to a gain enter in the Service of our Country. I make this application for a commision in a Negro Company. I was Sworn in the U.S. on the 30th of July 61 in Geo C. McKees Co C 11th Ills vol and Discharged on the 20th of Nov 62 for further recomendation aply to George C McKee Capt of Co C the old 11
