Honourable Governer
Dear Sir I adress you those few lines to see if your honour would have me transfered to my own state I have been in the hospital Cence the 1 of january and i have been at this place cence the 11 of may and i am not any better yet but i have been well treated by the docter in Charge Mr Sheeldes you will oblige your humble servant if you have me transfered to quincy Ills as i am not fit for duty and i feer never will i have some unsettled busness that I could
attend to if i could get to quincy as my family is very [illegible] in need I remain your humble servant Patrick Kinsela to the Governer of the St of Ills Mr Yeats
