Dear Sir
On Thursday, the 1st day of October, we intend holding a grand Mass Convention in our City, which we are determined shall be the largest meeting in this during present exciting Campaign - The Vallandingham Democracy hold a Mass Convention here on 17th inst. which promises to be a large gathering, but which we must and will outnumber
We need help in this former "house of Vallandingham" and trust you will accept our invitation to meet with and speak for us on the 1st of October next
You will very greatly oblige by answering at your earliest opportunity as we so not desire to announce any speaker unless we have assurances that he will endeavor to be with us Hoping you will consent to come and address the thousands who will be here assembled on that day, I am
