I wish you to send a letter of introduction of George C Campbel to Sec of United States Treasurer Mr Campbel is a partner of Glover & Cook, is a gentleman in Every Sense of the Word, one who is devoted to our party & to the best interest of country & our party He is going to Washington to attend Supreme Court, and thinks this letter from you will be of great avail to him. By sending such letter you will confer a favor upon Mr. Campbel & certainly upon Your Old Friend
